lineage and learning:
My approach is infused with deep gratitude from voices of my teachers, souls on the street, family, friends, and collaborators who are continually shifting my perspective. Currently, I'm interested in life’s inquiries and the natural world as movement inpiration and material for class.
Among dedicated daily practice (in movement and meditation), continual learning with teachers, collaborators and students, I do have formal training that have shaped my work. Noted training: Anatomy Trains 2023 Tom Meyers, Medical Exercise Specialist 2022 (ACE) USA, Yoga and Pregnancy Training 2021 Kari Kwinn, Tibetan Singing Bowl Training, Kathmandu Center of Healing, Nepal 2019, Thai Massage Training The Fine Art of Thai Massage, Thailand 2016, Yoga Alliance Teacher Training (Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Anatomy, Teaching Methodology, Pranayama (breathing techniques), Adjustments, and Assists , Bali, Indonesia 2013, Vipassana (10-day Silent Meditation Retreat) , California, US 2024 + Yangon, Myanmar 2017Bachelor of Arts in Dance & Environmental Studies Columbia College, USA 2013

My personal practices in both creativity and in health are always in cahoots with my pedagogy for movement sessions.I utilize Western alignment-based dance & functional fitness forms with a base layer in Mind/Body education from Eastern Spiritual & Martial Art Practices. Through this mash up of styles I integrate mindful attention and intention to our inner worlds (physical, mental, and emotional bodies) in relationship to the external world, in which we all exist.

My first experience in Yoga was at a studio class, for dance training, at the age of 14.
I remember feeling more connected to myself and the strangers, there than I had in any other group gathering.
The presents in presence.

I pursued a degree in Dance and Environmental Studies to connect greater with the globe in
the most universal and clear language: Movement + Earth.

I began attending a wider variety of Mind/Body courses and dove far into forms of Eastern approaches
to the true potential of inner transformation.

Nearly the day after graduating, I hopped on a plane to Asia (without funds to do so). Since then I've developed curriculum, studied immensely, immersed in retreat, and led experiences through 17 different countries.

Traveling

through each moment
by foot, by heart, by soul, by Groove.

I'm currently based in San Diego where I'm dancing and teaching on-land and online.

Here, I'm exploring how I can (truthfully) grow with and support our community through these practices.
My overall hope is to have the inspiration of connectivity in the mind/body develop and spread outwardly.
In this space, we can see and respect ourselves, each other, and our only home, which we all share: Earth
